Time to say goodbye!

To my fellow classmates, teachers, and everyone who has followed my blog, It’s time to head back home and put all the knowledge I've gained here in Austin into practice. This isn't just about what I learned in school; it's also about the personal growth I experienced living in a new city, in a different country, with a new culture. In these six weeks, I feel I've evolved so much as a person. I'm more independent, much more comfortable speaking English, and I truly believe my proficiency has improved.

A day in Houston

Last Saturday we had a trip to Houston to see two interesting places: the Houston Museum of Natural Science and NASA. First things first, the trip to Houston was a 3-hour trip by bus; it was a little tiring but totally worth it! In our way to Houston, I could notice some churches, water towers, small villages (although I don't know if it is appropriate to call them village or towns) and many cows! At the museum there were many fascinating exibihtions: the Dinossaurs; Ancient Egypt; Minerals and gem, and shells. I was really impressed by the jewelry exihbition.  After visiting the museum, we went to NASA - it was a huge place with incredible attractions. I got into a real space shuttle and saw a rocket really close. I loved this experience!
